Travel to Brooklyn Yeilds New Source Material

Urban decay, urban structure and urban pattern fascinates me and regularly informs my art. New York was an excellent place to get inspiration for future art pieces.

  1. Hi Suzanne,
I love that you showed us what others might not notice - the art that is all around us on the street. Wherever you are, you can enrich your day by looking for the overlooked.

    Best,
    Jaime

    1. Thanks. Once I got past carrying my "good" camera in the streets and subways of New York I had a lot of fun!

  2. Hi Suzanne, I love all the patterns. I'm particular to circles myself. I particularly love how the exit sign points up through the peeling cement of the ceiling! A subliminal reference to....??

  3. Hi Suzanne
Great detective work! Beautiful textural photos to inspire us all. It will be fun to see how these circles and dots show up in your future pieces.
    Cheers from Port Townsend,
